Our History

UPDATE of ICCM

“For this very reason, make every effort to add to your faith, goodness; and to goodness, knowledge; and to knowledge, self-control; and to self-control, perseverance; and to perseverance, godliness; and to godliness, mutual affection; and mutual affection, love.  For if you possess these qualities in increasing measure, they will keep you from being ineffective and unproductive in your knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.”2 Peter 1:5-8

The International College of Christian Ministries (ICCM) as founded on August 16, 2012, as the California Bureau of Private Postsecondary Education approved our application for the “Verification of Exempt Status.”  This allows ICCM to grant Bachelor’s, Master’s and Doctoral Degrees in Ministry according to “our” Biblical doctrines and standards. (2 Corinthians 3:1-5).  Over the past 13 years, this dream has become a reality, as ICCM extension schools have spread from one school in Los Angeles to over 25 extension campuses on all six populated continents of the globe!

To be clear, ICCM is not a substitute for Jesus’ plan to train ministers by walking with them side-by-side for a period of years. (Mark 3:13).  As a movement, we will continue to develop and multiply quality ministry practitioners who are skilled in both Biblical knowledge, personal integrity and effective spiritual leadership. (2 Timothy 2:2).  It cannot be overstated that ICCM is not a secular degree nor a replacement for one, but a degree in Christian ministry.  Our students are selected for their desire to pursue spiritual leadership in five specialty areas: church leadership; shepherding; administration & law; charity services through the benevolent arm of our movement of churches – MERCYworldwide; and new for the 2026 – a new specialty track – global internet ministry!

Throughout our SoldOut Discipling Movement churches, the ICCM degrees serve to provide advanced training on the foundation of discipling and Biblical study that our movement’s leaders have already attained.  It is our prayer that the next generation of Evangelists, Women’s Ministry Leaders, Administrators, MERCY Directors, and CyberDeacons will further advance God’s movement throughout the world.

The past two years have brought new challenges and exciting opportunities to ICCM as the curriculum and ministry standards have been improved.  Excitingly, new changes for the 2026 academic year will include a third year of ministry specialization and an internship in the applicant’s world sector or abroad.  The updated ICCM tuition details and qualifications for the 2026 application are now available here.  Please join us in prayer for God to use this “school of missionaries” (1 Samuel 10:5; 19:19-24) to spread the Gospel into all the nations in THIS generation!  (Acts 13:47).
